Natural waxes are derived from leaves, peels and fruits of different plants or are separated from plant oils by de-waxing. This process involves physical separation and no chemical reactions are involved.
Accu-Blend Natural Wax Line includes: Accu-Soy 125 Soy Wax, Accu-Soy 135 Soy Wax, Accu-Soy 155 Soy Wax, Accu-Pure White Beeswax, and Yellow Beeswax. Accu-Soy® and Accu-Pure® are registered trademarks of Accu-Blend Corporation.
Accu-Par Fully Refined Paraffin Waxes are translucent crystalline material in the solid state and a water white, low viscosity, clear liquid when molten. They are derived from petroleum via a carefully controlled refining process and are primarily comprised of straight chain normal paraffin hydrocarbons, which impart excellent gloss and water repellent properties. The typical oil content is about 0.5%.
Accu-Par line offers fully refined paraffin waxes with melting points of low-range from 125°F to 135°F, mid-range from 135°F to 145°F, and high-range from 150°F to 165°F. Accu-Par line includes: Accu-Par 125, Accu-Par 130, Accu-Par 140, Accu-Par 145, Accu-Par 150, and Accu-Par 160. Accu-Par® is the registered trademark of Accu-Blend Corporation.
Microcrystalline wax is a specific type of wax produced by de-oiling petroleum. Unlike paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax has fine crystals, and it is generally darker, more viscous, denser, tackier and more elastic than paraffin wax. It has elastic and adhesive characteristics. The small and thin crystal structure enables microcrystalline wax to bind solvents or oil, preventing the sweating-out of compositions.
Microlene is the microcrystalline wax brand of Accu-Blend. Microlene line offers microcrystalline waxes with drop points of the range from 160°F to 195°F. Microlene microcrystalline line includes: Microlene 160, Microlene 165, Microlene 170, Microlene 175, Microlene 185, and Microlene 195.
